🚨A new poll released today by UNH Survey Center shows that Governor Chris Sununu's abortion ban is deeply unpopular, with only *one-third* of Granite Staters in support, and nearly half of independent voters in opposition.
Another poll shows that *only 31%* of Granite Staters support the provision signed by Gov. Sununu that mandates medically unnecessary, often invasive ultrasounds before abortion care at all stages of pregnancy.
This polling confirms what we have known all along: Governor Chris Sununu’s cruel abortion ban and ultrasound mandate are deeply unpopular and a direct affront to New Hampshire’s longstanding support for reproductive freedom. Today in NH, our legislators are debating a budget that includes a ban on abortions at 24 weeks, with no exceptions for r**e, in**st, or the health of the fetus. Granite Staters overwhelmingly agree that people should have the privacy and freedom to make their own personal reproductive health care decisions.
We hope that our NH Legislators listen to the words of Paxton Smith, who just this week bravely used her platform as high school valedictorian to speak out against an abortion ban in her state of Texas. "We need to make our voices heard... I hope you can feel how dehumanizing it is to have the autonomy over your own body taken away from you... We cannot stay silent!" Watch her powerful speech here: https://youtu.be/mrfe27VDuRA?t=295
Do not stay silent — make your voices heard. Tell our representatives, senators and governor that an abortion ban has no place in our state budget.

“Today, Governor Chris Sununu confirmed he supports the language in the budget banning abortion at 24 weeks, with extremely limited exceptions, including none for fetal health. To be clear: Gov. Sununu cannot sign this budget AND call himself "pro-choice."
Call him NOW at (603) 271-2121 and tell him to oppose this abortion ban.”
