Check out this awesome opportunity below from our friends at Temptasians of Duke University!
Hi there! Do you like to sing? Come try out for the Temptasians of Duke University, the oldest cultural acapella group on campus! We are a co-ed group of singers dedicated to covering songs in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, by popular artists like Jay Park, Taeyang, Jay Chou and JJ Lin. Never sang before in your life? No worries. Believe it or not, some of our current members have never had any vocal training or formal experience. Besides, we find plenty of other ways to appreciate Asian culture outside of rehearsal through off-campus dinners, movie nights, karaoke and hotpot! You also don’t have to be Asian to join, and no language skills are required! Below is the link to sign up for auditions:

Each year, during DAAT's 24 Hour Play Festival, students write, rehearse and perform plays in 24 hours! We had a blast this year performing two original short plays, "Room for Error" by Jacob Warner and "Eating Steak with Chopsticks" by Kat Tan.

Thanks to our last audience today AND to everyone who came out to support the show! Your support has meant so much to the cast, crew, and DAAT in general. Stay tuned for more info about our events for the coming school year ;)

If you're looking for a fun and low-commitment theater opportunity, DAAT is producing a staged reading of "Tokyo Trauma," a play by Kawamura Takashi! Commitment involves a couple rehearsals throughout February and performances are February 27-28 in Sheafer Theater.
People of all backgrounds and all levels of acting experience (including none!) are welcome!
Did we mention that it's a READING so you don't have to memorize?
