FEELC Community,
By now, you have probably seen the news that all federal childcare centers, including First Environments Early Learning Center, are required to close in response to the ongoing attempt to try to halt the spread of COVID-19. In order to meet our contractual obligations, including payment of teachers and staff, tuition drafts will proceed as usual according to our tuition policy. At this time, we do not know how long FEELC will be closed. The parent board and administrative staff appreciate your patience as we continue to evaluate this rapidly evolving situation and will communicate updates to parents as soon as possible.
We understand that managing the spread of COVID-19 is an unforeseen and challenging situation for everyone in our FEELC community and that many are managing interruptions in work and/or teleworking. For your awareness, the next full tuition draft occurs on March 27th, which will retain our staff during a potential 2-week closure. FEELC will then provide additional communication before the next drafts take place. If you are experiencing a disruption in your income and require flexibility with tuition payments, please prepare a letter to the Board for consideration. Those letters can be sent to [email protected].
From,
The FEELC Parent Board
