Hopeful Hearts will be offering a new group offering for Summer 2026! We will be offering "Setting the Stage for Social Success: A Drama Based Social Skills Group." Setting the Stage for Social Success is a drama-based social skills group that uses theater games, role-play, and creative activities to help participants build confidence and meaningful friendships. Designed especially for children who may feel burnt out by traditional social skills groups, this program brings laughter, creativity, and levity into learning important social skills.

Through interactive activities, participants practice recognizing emotions, understanding social cues, joining group activities, starting conversations, and seeing situations from others’ perspectives—all in a supportive and engaging environment. 🎭

Hopeful Hearts Consulting is currently recruiting teens between the ages of 13-17 who want support with the skills needed to make and keep friends for my Spring 2026 PEERs social skills group. Message me for more info!

Do you know a teenager on the autism spectrum who is looking for a social group in the Raleigh/Durham area? I am an occupational therapist with 18 years of experience working with children and young adults on the spectrum. I am hoping to get a PEERs group off the ground late spring/early summer.
