💜 A little honesty from my heart today… 💜
The past few weeks have been difficult for me.
Losing a dear friend has left me grieving in ways I’m still discovering, and one of the things I’ve noticed is that my intuitive work feels different right now.
People sometimes assume that because I’ve been doing this work for years, I’m always “on” or always deeply connected. But the truth is, I’m human first.
Grief has a way of wrapping itself around us like layers of bubble wrap. The love is still there. The gifts are still there. But sometimes the messages don’t come through as clearly because our hearts are busy healing.
Today I’m attending a gathering where I’ve been invited simply to be present. I’m bringing my favorite card decks with me, but I’m going with no expectations.
If I’m inspired to share a reading, wonderful.
If today turns out to be a day where I simply listen, receive, and allow others to pour kindness into me, that’s wonderful too.
There are seasons in life when we are called to give, and there are seasons when we are invited to receive.
Both are sacred.
So if you’ve been feeling like you need to step back, rest, heal, or say, “I can’t quite do this today,” please know that there is no shame in that. Giving yourself permission to receive may be exactly what your soul needs.
Today, I’m choosing grace over pressure, presence over perfection, and trust over expectation.
With love,
💜 Kim

As the sun sets on another day, may you release what you cannot control and hold close what brings you peace.
You don’t have to have all the answers tonight. Sometimes the greatest act of healing is simply allowing yourself to rest.
Wishing you a gentle evening and a heart filled with hope.

This morning felt like a quiet lesson from nature.
As I sipped my coffee, deer wandered through the yard. Then I noticed a tiny fawn tucked safely into the landscape, so well camouflaged that it almost disappeared into the pine straw and shadows.
A neighbor texted to say they had spotted a coyote nearby, and for a moment my heart skipped a beat. I stepped outside, made my presence known, and watched as the coyote moved on. The little fawn remained quietly hidden, exactly as nature intended.
As I returned to the deck, I noticed one of my roses had opened since I had looked at it just a short time before.
The morning reminded me that life is both tender and resilient. There will always be moments that ask us to stay alert and moments that invite us to trust. There will be uncertainty, but there will also be quiet beauty unfolding all around us.
Today I’m grateful for the tiny fawn, the blooming rose, and the gentle reminder that hope often grows in the most unexpected places. 🌹🦌💚

Today feels a little more like me.
This morning I put on a favorite top, picked up my new glasses, and even stepped outside to take a few pictures. It may not sound like much, but after a difficult few weeks, it felt good.
Sometimes healing doesn’t arrive all at once. Sometimes it shows up as a quiet Sunday morning, a walk outside, a smile in the mirror, or the feeling that a little bit of your spark is returning.
If you’re carrying something heavy right now, I hope you find a moment of light today too. 💖

🦌✨ Morning Blessings ✨🦌
Before the coffee was poured and before the workday began, I stepped outside and was greeted by a familiar visitor.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments aren’t the ones we plan. They’re the quiet surprises that remind us to pause, smile, and appreciate the beauty around us.
This morning’s reminder: there is still gentleness in the world. There is still wonder waiting just outside our door.
Wishing you a peaceful day filled with unexpected blessings, small moments of joy, and reasons to smile.

A Toast to Belinda
Tonight, John and I went out for dinner and raised a glass in memory of my friend Belinda.
We shared stories, laughter, and a few tears as we remembered her kindness, her wisdom, and the way she made people feel loved.
Partway through the evening, I received a text from my aunt in Connecticut. She asked us to toast Belinda for them, too.
That simple message touched my heart.
Belinda lived in North Carolina. My family lives in Connecticut. Yet her kindness reached far beyond the people she met directly. Through stories, conversations, and the love we shared, she became someone they cared about too.
It reminded me that the love we give creates ripples. We may never fully know how far they travel or whose lives they touch.
Tonight, our glasses were raised not only by those who knew her personally, but also by those who knew how much she meant to someone they love.
What a beautiful legacy.
💜 To Belinda.

The birds have been especially busy at the feeder this morning, chirping and singing as the sun shines brightly overhead.
There’s something about that kind of morning that makes everything feel possible again.
The windows are open, the air feels lighter, and even the everyday tasks waiting for us don’t seem quite so overwhelming.
It’s a gentle reminder that every day offers a fresh opportunity to begin again, try again, or simply appreciate where we are right now.
Today, I encourage you to pause for a moment and enjoy something simple—a cup of coffee, a walk outside, the song of a bird, or the beauty of a flower in bloom.
The angels often whisper through those quiet moments, reminding us that hope, peace, and inspiration can be found in the simplest of things.
Wishing you a beautiful Wednesday filled with renewed energy, unexpected blessings, and a joyful spark along the way. 💜

A few months ago, these pothos cuttings were simply stems in water.
Little by little, roots began to form. New leaves appeared. Growth happened quietly, day by day.
Sometimes we think growth should be dramatic or immediate. But often, the most meaningful growth happens beneath the surface, long before anyone else can see it.
If you’ve been feeling like you’re standing still, trust that things may be developing in ways you can’t yet see.
Keep nurturing your dreams.
Keep believing in yourself.
Keep growing. 💜
Wishing you a peaceful Tuesday.

🌹 A Little More Like Myself
The roses on my patio don’t know that life has been difficult lately.
They simply keep doing what roses do—reaching for the sun, opening one petal at a time, and blooming when they’re ready.
Today, I find myself doing much the same.
There are still moments of sadness. There are still things to process. But there is also coffee on the patio, flowers beginning to bloom, work to be done, and life continuing to unfold.
Healing isn’t about forgetting. It’s about learning to carry both the love and the loss while continuing to move forward.
One step.
One day.
One bloom at a time. 💜

☕✨ An Unexpected Pause ✨
This afternoon, our internet and phones went out for a while.
At first, it felt a little inconvenient. There were things I could have been doing and messages I couldn’t send. But after a bit, I realized something else was happening…
The world got a little quieter.
Without all the usual notifications and distractions, the afternoon naturally slowed down. Instead of rushing from one thing to the next, I found myself simply enjoying the moment.
Now the day is winding down with a warm cup of tea, a cozy evening at home, and a little channel surfing between the Carolina Hurricanes game and a Hallmark Christmas movie. Somehow, both seem to fit the mood tonight.
Sometimes the pauses we didn’t plan are exactly what we need.
Wishing you a peaceful evening and a gentle close to your day. 💜
