Guess who's coming to the DSA LMC April 24th? Hint: He's orange, he has a cool typewriter, and he's Durham's Poet Laureate...that's right, Durham's own will celebrate Poetry Palooza with us next Friday in the LMC. He will be with scheduled groups 9-12 and then available during the high school lunches for students to stop by. Happy Poetry (and School Library) Month!

Congrats to the High School Battle of the books team for placing 1st at the district competition. Congrats to Hillside for placing 2nd and Riverside coming in 3rd. It was a fun day of competition and as always the student v. coaches rounds at the end were a highlight. (We'll get 'em next year coaches!)
