NCCU Veterans Resource Center provides a safe haven for veterans for come, relax, talk and network with other veterans.

The Veterans Resource Center is located in the Miller-Morgan Bldg, Room 216. We offer computer and printer access as well as complimentary coffee and tea. We are open between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday-Friday. All Veterans and family members are welcome to visit and utilize the resources provided within the VRC.

The NCCU Veterans Resource Center is currently certifying students for the Fall 2019 semester! Unfortunately, the VA is extremely backed up, so they are not taking calls at this time, which will cause a delay in certifications. However, students will still be certified in time before school begins!!

"Don't ask, don't tell" (DADT) was the official United States policy on military service by g**s, bisexuals, and le****ns, instituted by the Clinton Administration on February 28, 1994, when Department of Defense Directive 1304.26 issued on December 21, 1993, took effect, lasting until September 20, 2011.

The month of June was chosen for LGBT Pride Month to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969. As a result, many pride events are held during this month to recognize the impact LGBT people have had in the world.

No matter the sexuality or gender identity, remember that members of the Armed Forces voluntarily risk their lives daily for everyone else to enjoy freedom. Appreciate their contributions, Accept their lifestyle, and Applaud their hard work! πŸŒˆπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ‘¬πŸΎπŸ‘­πŸ‘¬πŸ‘­
