ing. Spectra-Care strives to provide a safe, nurturing, and accepting space in which participants of the program are afforded the ability to freely express. Spectra-Care targets middle school adolescents who are not yet ready or able to remain at home alone at the conclusion of the school day. Spectra-care engages students in fun activities that build on what is learned during the school day to extend the knowledge they already have. Our goal is to provide affordable, convenient, and nurturing academic enrichment activities that support the classroom learning outcomes. Spectra-Care is poised to serve the needs of autistic students in Durham, Wake and Orange Counties and seeks to grow throughout the Triangle area and beyond. We seek to create an educational and social space in which parents, families and their allies can guarantee the continued development of this very special student population.
