| The 2025-26 academic year was marked by partnerships that expanded opportunity and helped prepare students for the future of work. As we revisit some of the moments that helped move NCCU forward, we highlight the university’s continued collaboration with Durham Technical Community College.
This partnership strengthens transfer pathways into NCCU’s life sciences programs, helping students save time and money while creating expanded opportunities for hands-on learning and workforce development experiences connected to high-demand careers.

Building new facilities is a team sport—and this team played a significant role in designing our new life sciences and health sciences facilities, as well as the addition and renovation at the Orange County Campus. Congrats to our newest GED recipients!
TROSA celebrated our newest residents earning their GED! TROSA residents can take classes and practice exams throughout their treatment program to prepare for earning their GED, which opens up many doors to educational and career advancement.
Our GED recipients proudly participated in Durham Technical Community College's commencement ceremony, held at the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC). Durham Technical Community College is a long-standing education partner, providing many opportunities for our degree-seeking and career-minded residents. Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to Kyaw (Ler) Moo, Associate in Science student and 2026 The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship recipient!
Selected from 1,300 applicants nationwide, Ler has made his mark at Durham Tech as a research assistant on a fuel cell project, presenting at the NASA Symposium and the NC Academy of Science meeting.
A C-STEP scholar, Ler heads to The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall on a full scholarship. 🎓

📢 Heads up! Two campus resources are getting a temporary new home while we make some exciting improvements.
🍏 Campus Harvest Food Pantry will be in Phillips (Bldg 3), Rooms 114–118 from May 18–June 26. All services will continue as normal.
📚 The Bookstore will be moving to Ingram (Bldg 11), Room 103 for the month of June.
Stay tuned for more updates about the bookstore coming soon!
