Tomorrow starts our kindergarten color days! Join us as we support our kindergarten students by wearing a specific color each day. Tomorrow we all wear PURPLE! Check out the schedule below to wear specific colors for the next two weeks. We hope you can join in on the fun.

If you wish to volunteer this year, please make sure to fill out the volunteer registration form. Don't miss out!

We know everyone doesn’t want to think about coats and sweatshirts this time of year, but our lost and found is OVERFLOWING! We’ve pulled everything out for you to look over tomorrow at Meet the Teacher. Be sure to stop by the cafeteria tomorrow and find your lost items. Friendly PSA—use this as a reminder to write your child’s name on book bags, lunch boxes. and coats! 🥳

Meet the Teacher is this Thursday, July 16th. Grades PREK-2nd grade is from 4:00-5:00 and 3rd-5th grade is from 5:00-6:00. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Volunteer applications are live now. Here's how to apply to be a volunteer:
1. Go to www.dpsnc.net
2. Click on Community
3. Scroll to Volunteers
4. Click on Register to Volunteer
5. Complete all parts of the application in its entirety. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.**do not click submit until you have complete both the video presentation and video training.

This is the process for you to chaperone field trips, assist in a classroom, or be a PTA volunteer. It must be completed every year as it is expires at the end of the school year. Complete the application now before the mad rush begins when traditional starts! (It can take weeks to receive an approval then.)

Mark your calendars for Easley's Meet the Teacher event on July 16th. Grades K-2 will be from 4:00-5:00 pm and Grades 3-5 will be from 5:00-6:00 pm. The first day of school will be Monday, July 20th.
