🌟 HAPPY STUDENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST WEEK! 🌟

This week, we are celebrating the incredible Student Support Specialists of Communities In Schools of Lexington/Davidson County! 💙

Our Student Support Specialists are the heart of what we do. Every day, they show up for students—building relationships, removing barriers, connecting families to resources, celebrating successes, and being a trusted adult when a student needs one most.

Their work goes far beyond the school day. They are mentors, advocates, problem-solvers, cheerleaders, and sometimes simply the person who says, “I’m here, and I believe in you.”

Because of their dedication, students know they don't have to navigate challenges alone. They have someone in their corner helping them stay focused, stay connected, and keep moving toward graduation and a successful future. 🎓

Starting the year strong with great attendance habits sets our students up for a great year. Nash County Public Schools thanks for joining the Pledge to be present this week! North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Communities In Schools

We love our community partnerships. Our Communities In Schools coordinator, Ms. Mann, is sponsoring a Pledge to Be Present campaign in honor of National Attendance Awareness Month.

Our Trojans will have an opportunity to sign pledge cards during their lunch period sharing why their presence matters at school. Students will also receive a wristband that says "Being Present Matters" to serve as a daily reminder that their presence at school matters!
