Duke OIT’s live lunchtime webinar series returns with seven Zoom sessions covering practical topics including several sessions on AI, communication tools, time management and accessibility.

The series kicks off at noon Wednesday, Sept. 2 with “AI Beyond the Chatbot,” exploring how Duke teams have used AI and how it can support day-to-day work.

Good news 🎉 You no longer need Duke VPN to access DukeHub or DKUHub from off campus.

Last week, Duke temporarily required VPN access as an extra security measure while the IT Security Office addressed a potential cybersecurity threat. That additional protection is no longer needed, and DukeHub and DKUHub are back to normal.

So if you're registering for class, checking grades, financial aid, or anything else, just log in like usual.

✅ On campus? You're good.
✅ Off campus? You're good.

There has been a recent increase in phone-based phishing attempts reported across several of Duke’s peer institutions. These calls are designed to trick you into approving a login or enrolling a device the attacker controls. While there is no need for alarm, staying alert is important.

Scammers may pose as IT staff; remain vigilant.
