A new display across from Dimond's Info Desk showcases an array of handcrafted items from the Linda Morley Folklore Collection in our Special Collections & Archvies.

Folklorist Linda Morley was active from the early 1970s to the late 1980s. In addition to collecting and supporting community involvement in folklore and folklife, she spearheaded the creation of RSA-19, which established the New Hampshire Commission on the Arts. She served as New Hampshire’s Folklorist-in-Residence from 1979 through the late 1980s.

Join us for the grand reopening of Dimond Library's reading rooms on Wednesday, September 2 at 10:30am! 🎉

The library has been working to update and revitalize our three reading rooms over the last few years. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we were able to refurbish chairs and tables, a sustainable and cost-effective way to make the rooms more welcoming and more comfortable. 💪🌍 And this summer, we installed new carpet—in a stylish Wildcat Blue—for the first time in almost 30 years.

Join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the renovation of these beautiful spaces, open to all in our community! 🍪 Refreshments will be served.

Are you ready to vote in November?

New Hampshire bars the use of student IDs for voting, so if you're a University of New Hampshire student, you'll need to obtain a state-issued voter ID before Election Day if you don't have another acceptable form of identification.

You can obtain a voucher for a free voter ID and registration from the NH DMV with valid proof of residence, and you can also access
the vital records needed for proof of identity for free—but these things take time, so start the process now!

The UNH Library has completed the digitization of thousands of photographs taken by renowned photographer Lotte Jacobi during a 1932-1933 trip to the Soviet Union and Central Asia.

These remarkable pictures, along with Jacobi's travel journal, are now available to viewers and researchers around the world through our Digital Collections.
