The dreary weather outside couldn’t dim the brightness in the Huddleston Ballroom last night as we gathered together with our Honors College graduates, their families, faculty, advisors, and staff to toast all they’ve accomplished and their achievements yet to come.
We were graced with touching and inspiring toasts from President Chilton, Honors College Director Catherine Peebles, our 2026 Honors Alumni Award winner Joe Pace, and Honors Assistant Director Andrew Ferris.
Three impressively talented students from the Music Department, Joshua Keen, Luke Duquette, and Adam Cooper comprised a jazz trio who graced us with beautiful music as the grads received their graduation stoles and cords and read letters they had written to themselves as they began their UNH journeys.
We are all so proud of you, our graduates of the Hamel Honors and Scholars College. Go out there and show the world what you’ve shown us!

(We’re so sorry. The person who wrote this caption is in her 40s and was trying to write in a way that she thinks appeals to a younger audience. She’s nice, if horribly misguided, so we just sort of let her get on with it. Thank you for your tolerance at this time.)
