Mother's Helper Family Childcare A low ratio family environment with a dedicated learning space, local field trips and kindermusic. I Mother's Helper is owned and operated by Mary Speer Crews.

I attended UNC Chapel Hill where I majored in Psychology with an minor in Child Development. While in school, I also worked in the infant and 4 yr. old room at Frank Porter Graham Child Development Center, as well as in the 2 yr. old room at Chapel Hill Daycare. I have drawn from these experiences to create my own family childcare home. I believe that children learn through their play and strive to create an environment that supports that play and development. We also participate in the USDA food program and offer breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. All meals are prepared using fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. Kids eat family style to encourage social skills.
