8th grade families - is your child heading to Jordan HS next year? Be sure to register for the Summer Bridge program, which will provide an opportunity for first-time freshman to familiarize themselves with one another and Jordan HS prior to the start of the academic year. Now is the time for returning students to register for bus transportation for the 2024-25 school year. Durham Public Schools reminds families to update student information, including transportation for upcoming school year, using the secure PowerSchool Parent Portal -> Parent Sign In (https://dps.powerschool.com/public/). Don't miss the transportation request deadlines: Year-Round Schools - May 24; Specialty and Traditional Schools - June 17.

🎶 Bravo to Nat Stine, Choral and Orchestra Director at Rogers-Herr! 🎹 In December, he enchanted Carnegie Hall with the Tim Janis Ensemble, showcasing his piano skills and crafting arrangements for artists like Ben Rector and Loreena McKennitt. 🌟

Notably, Nat's original choral composition, "Dreams Were Made to Come True," has been published by Alfred Music Publishing. A maestro making waves! 🎵✨
