Among celebrating our teachers, Happy National Appreciation Day!
National Interpreter Appreciation Day honors sign language & spoken language interpreters and their contribution to helping EVERYONE communicate.
Rogers-Herr has 4 interpreters/interveners/facilitators and 2 teachers that assist our deaf/hard of hearing students every day. We are thankful for them and their role in promoting INCLUSION for all students! 💙

Shout out to our amazing educators Ms. Renada Cammon(Band) and Mr. Nat Stine (Chorus & Orchestra) for their hard work in preparing our students for the Festival of Music at Carowinds, Saturday, May 2. This event brings together middle and high school instrumental, choral, and musical theatre ensembles to showcase their skills. We are incredibly proud of our Ram Scholars, and we thank all of our volunteers who traveled with and supported our students. Our Band was rated Excellent and our Chorus and Orchestra was rated superior!

Happy Teachers’ Appreciation Week to the absolute best! 💙
Our teachers continue to show up every single day with heart, purpose, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of our Ram Scholars. Your impact goes far beyond the classroom. You inspire, empower, and help our students believe in themselves.
Thank you for all that you do. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you!

Our PTA showed up and showed out yesterday! 💙
Early release days can be long, but they made sure our staff felt loved, appreciated, and well fed. From the delicious food to the thoughtful touches, they truly did their thing!
We are so grateful for a PTA that pours into our teachers and staff the way they do. It does not go unnoticed, and it makes a difference.
Rams ROCK because of partnerships like this!

Retesting Information:
We have an exciting opportunity for our students this year. Beginning with the 2025–26 school year, students who did not score proficient on their end-of-year state test may take part in a second test administration. This retest gives students another chance to show what they know and demonstrate their growth!
For students to participate in the retest, we need permission from a parent or legal guardian. You can opt in for your student by visiting the link on our school’s website, or by signing and returning the letter sent home with your child by Friday, May 29, 2026.
Here is the link to sign up for retesting:
