We’re looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and curious students to join our field crew this fall. Be ready to learn about regenerative food systems by helping with daily tasks on the farm.

We’re thrilled to welcome our new Sloss Fellow, Gaby Dunn! As our third programming and comms fellow, Gaby will be picking up all outreach + event coordination from Christina. We’re sad to say goodbye to Christina + Roo as their fellowships come to an end, but eager for Gaby to start her journey with us!

Gaby was born and raised in the small coastal community of Stuart, FL, where she grew up wading through estuaries, exploring mangroves, and catching critters.

A proud Class of 2026 Duke Alumnus, she graduated with a major in Sociology and a minor in Creative Writing. During her four years, she led trips with Outdoor Adventures, taught baking classes for Durham senior citizens, rocked out to local live music, and became a fierce advocate for inclusivity and accessibility within the outdoors.

Gaby is stoked to formally join the DCF community as their third Sloss Fellow and is eager to contribute her passions for storytelling, community, and the arts to DCF’s critical role in building a more sustainable future.

bushels, bags, & bunches, oh my! CSA week 6 has gifted us with a bright new crop of veggies and reflections sourced from field crew member Jacob 🤩🍅💛 We are feeling especially grateful for our community and capacity to give back, with a major thanks to our CSA family for their generous support!

Summer CSA week 5 & we are bringing some fresh new veggies harvested by our very own Xia Meng! A box full of familiar favorites and exciting new additions 🥔👀, the field crew has loved tending to our produce from seed to spud.
