Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of enthusiastic young students to our laboratory and greenhouse. The students explored plant science, learned about modern agricultural practices, and gained hands-on experience with plants and horticultural research. It was inspiring to see their curiosity and excitement as they discovered the science behind growing healthy crops. We look forward to inspiring the next generation of agricultural leaders!

Today, we organized a small farewell gathering for my graduate student Tahsin as he begins his next journey as a PhD student at the University of New Hampshire. It has been a true pleasure mentoring you and watching your growth—your dedication, hard work, and positive spirit will take you far. You will always be part of our lab family. Wishing you endless success and happiness in this new chapter!

I’m excited to be attending the 22nd ARD Research Symposium in New Orleans, LA! It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues, friends, and students. I’m especially proud that my graduate students are presenting both oral and poster presentations—great work by the team! Tomorrow, I will be giving a talk on portable technologies for sustainable plant disease management. If you’re attending, I’d love for you to join my session. I’ll be here through Tuesday (3/31), so please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect, discuss potential collaborations, explore career opportunities, or talk about graduate student positions. Looking forward to meaningful conversations and new collaborations.
