Good Morning! While the country is debating about border security vs. walls, let us not forget that many people of African descent, people color and the working poor (furloughed Gov. Workers, Underemployed) are dealing with economic insecurities and legislative walls of injustice! Study the level you desire to operate in before pursing it!

Are you patient enough to receive genuine impartation from an authentic leader; or do you try/seek to grow in isolation? Although some leaders fail to realize - a true mentor/mentee relationships doesn't consist of constructing carbon copies of themselves or manipulating you to use their particular leadership style. Mentors pull out of you what God has placed in you!

When you let things slide hoping it will get better, you only set yourself up for disappointment. I say this because, what or who you fear losing will eventually cause you to act irrational, breeding behaviors that further separate you from it or them. Be direct, communicate, resolve the issue! If you lose them or it, the end result will work better for you in contrast to living in frustration! Do yourself a favor - Respect yourself!

Wishing things would change only leads to frustration, however strategic planning coupled with diligence leads to manifesting your dreams! Write the vision and work it with everything you have in you! Remember, "Faith" without works is dead.

Empowerment Tip:

Always be mindful that the words you speak, teach, preach, and/or sing will be tested at some point. Don't get too comfortable...just know...your fruit(s) can act as a witness for or against you!

Set high expectations for God because He is able to perform far beyond what we expect! This becomes problematic for us because we tend to compare God's integrity to our human relationships and the disappointment associated with them. Problems not only come to make you stronger, but they enable us to see various roles (Father, doctor, friend, provider, healer, etc.) that God plays in our lives. Get to know Him - He's more than just "savior"! Challenge yourself to know God in diverse capacities.

It's okay to strategically put some of your goals on hold to further develop your skill set. Ironically, in some situations God will lead you to pause in order to elevate you in front of your critics/doubters. This approach can appear as failure to some, but considered a great success in God's Eyes!

Your sacrifices are only as rewarding or as disappointing as the motive behind the intent of the sacrifice! Self-center motivations yeild pain in the end; however, Christ-Centered motivations yeild the best outcomes.

How you are treated in any relationship is the result of "your" instructions. If you desire better treatment, you must teach others how to treat you. If you have changed your life, you must model how you should be treated. For instance, if you desire to be respected, you must carry yourself in a manner that commands respect. If you do not like to argue anymore, dont take the bait when provoked. Most importantly, in order to teach others about who you are, you must definitely know who you are first!
