Oyster River Middle School PTO

As we wrap up another incredible year at ORMS, we want to take a moment to say thank you. To our dedicated volunteers, whose time and energy make everything possible; to our board members who show up with heart and hustle all year long; and to our amazing administration, teachers, and staff, who pour themselves into our students every single day: we are so grateful for you.

This community is something truly special, and it shows in everything we do together. We are already looking forward to what's ahead, and we cannot wait to share all the wonderful things we have in store for the 2026-27 school year. Wishing everyone a well-deserved and restful summer!

The ORMS PTO wants to take a moment to celebrate someone very special to our school community.

After 9 years at ORMS, our incredible Administrative Assistant, Denise Diharce, is retiring! Denise has been a constant source of support, warmth, and dedication, and her contributions to this school have touched so many of us over the years.

To say she will be missed is an understatement. We are so grateful for everything she has done for ORMS, for our students, and for the PTO.

Denise, we wish you all the joy and rest you so richly deserve. Congratulations and happy retirement!

Tonight we celebrate our Oyster River eighth graders as they wrap up their middle school journey!

Congratulations to the Class of 2030 on reaching this milestone. We hope tonight's celebration is everything you deserve after a great year. As you head off to ORHS next fall, we wish you all the very best. The friendships you've made, the memories you've created, and the experiences you've had at ORMS will stick with you.

A reminder to all eighth graders: please plan to arrive at 5:30 pm tonight. Enjoy every moment, and best of luck as your next chapter begins.

Last PTO Meeting of the Year!

We wrapped up our final PTO meeting of the school year this week, and we were lucky enough to grab a photo of the original PTO board. We were only missing Keith!

We also took a moment to honor two incredible board members, Kristal Seator and Kristen Sebastian, as they send their students off to the high school. These two have given so much of their time and heart to our school community over the last two years, and we are truly grateful for everything they’ve done. They will be greatly missed! 💙

Greeting from the ORMS Food Pantry

As this school year closes, we want to share our deepest thanks with everyone in the ORMS community. Your kindness and support have kept our pantry strong all year, and because of you we were able to help many families when they needed it most.

Our pantry remains stocked and ready to serve. If you know a family who could use support, the ORMS pantry is open during the school day from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM. If visiting isn’t possible, please let us know — we are happy to arrange delivery.

Science Friday
These talks take place in the concert hall on select Fridays during the advisory block and are open to any interested student grades 5-8. If you are interested in being a Science Friday guest speaker, contact [email protected] and cc [email protected] and [email protected]

Homework Club
The club meets in the library when school ends and runs until 4:10 pm when kids can get picked up or take the late bus. The club does NOT run on Fridays.
