Dear Parents,
We want to keep you informed related to information your students are receiving. Below is a copy of the message that was sent to your student this week.

Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Holmes
Senior Vice Provost for Student Life

Dear Durham Community—We have lots of information to share about vaccination and Thanksgiving testing; please keep reading! After Thanksgiving, your testing schedule may shift for the rest of the semester (see below).

Need a COVID-19 Vaccine or Booster?

Students, staff and faculty are ALL eligible for a booster dose six months after receiving the J&J vaccine or second dose of Moderna/Pfizer. Learn more.

• The N.H. Mobile Vaccine Van will be on campus Saturday, Nov. 20, 8-11 a.m., in the lobby of the Whittemore Center, offering all vaccines and boosters. No appointment necessary.
• Make an appointment at Health & Wellness to receive the primary vaccine or booster for J&J or Moderna; visit a local pharmacy for Pfizer. Visit MyHealth&Wellness or call (603) 862-9355 to make an appointment.
REMINDER: COVID Testing Before and After Thanksgiving Break
• Drop boxes will close Monday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m. They will not reopen until Monday, Nov. 29 at 7 a.m.
• There will be no required testing the week of Thanksgiving. If you would like to submit a test Monday, Nov. 22 you may do so.
• If you need to put your testing on hold or cannot make a future testing date request an exemption.
If you have not uploaded a vaccine card:
• And need access to campus Monday, Nov. 29 you must submit a test Monday, Nov. 22 or upload a third-party PCR test to ensure an active Wildcat Pass.
• And do not need access to campus Monday, Nov. 29 submit a test on your next scheduled day or the day before you need to access campus, whichever is first.
If you have uploaded a vaccine card:
• If your biweekly testing was supposed to fall on the week of Thanksgiving (Nov. 22-26) you must test the week of Nov. 29–Dec. 3 and biweekly after that.
• If your biweekly testing was supposed to be the week after Thanksgiving (Nov. 29–Dec. 3) you must test the week of Dec. 6–Dec. 10 and biweekly after that.
• Because Thanksgiving is a time when many people travel and spend time with family in large gatherings, please consider dropping a test on your regular testing day the week after Thanksgiving even if it is not required.
• Please refer to your Wildcat Pass for your new required testing days.
Just a few reminders. If you have any cold, allergy or flu-like symptoms drop an additional test or visit Health & Wellness. If you need a documented COVID PCR test result for international travel or other special purposes, contact H&W to schedule. Thank you for continued support of our efforts to keep our community safe.

In case anyone was wondering about the number of windows in Stokes, I was too. I called Housing because the room dimension layout they have online appears to show only one window. BUT, Housing confirmed there are indeed TWO windows in each room…..just in case you are trying to buy curtains like me! Cheers1
