Keystone teams will be announced at our meeting on October 18th (after the workout) and we'll require the first of two non-refundable deposits of $~400-500 (depending on trip) by noon on October 29th.

Apply for BOLD's Cornerstone 1 Mt. Mitchell Camping Trip! This is a great opportunity to get involved with the club and meet other BOLDers! Spots fill up quickly, so apply now!

When:
Option 1: 9/30-10/1
Option 2: 10/7-10/8

What:
Climb to the top of Mt. Mitchell, the highest point East of the Mississippi 6,684' (3,700' elevation gain) on an 11 mile round trip hike.
Camp overnight and bond with your fellow BOLDers.

We have two options for the Cornerstone 1 trip to Mt. Mitchell. One group will head up on Sept. 30th (Cornerstone 1A) while another group will head up on Oct. 7th (Cornerstone 1B). Obtain your WFA and WFR certifications through BOLD! These courses build a solid foundation in the basics of backcountry medical care and should be considered by anyone spending a significant amount of time in wilderness or outdoor settings.
