Math tutoring is available through Zoom or Microsoft Teams at $75 per one-hour session. I also tutor in person in the Durham, NC area for an extra travel fee based on distance.
About me: I'm currently the head of math and physics at Durham Tech in Durham, NC. I have 10+ years of experience teaching and tutoring math at the high school and college levels. I've taught math from the development level up to college, including Calculus II. Sessions: I will assess your student's learning style and develop sessions to maximize growth and understanding. I believe true mathematical understanding comes from a mixture of struggle and success. I encourage students to understand the concepts rather than memorize formulas. This leads to higher pass rates in math classes.
