The Fourth of July can feel fraught—local or family traditions aside, for many, it feels wrong to celebrate a single moment of freedom when freedom hasn’t been granted uniformly over time. For others, this current moment and the freedoms we cherish feel more vulnerable than ever. We hold space on this July 4th for the complexities and acknowledge there is more work to be done. And we wish everyone in our TG community and beyond space to head outdoors in whatever type of natural space you have to experience a bit of the peace, connection and joy that nature provides.
