That’s a wrap on 2022!! We had so much fun with the class of 2026 this week. In this first-of-its-kind, immersive pre-orientation program, students had the chance to connect with each other, to Duke, and the Durham community through hands-on experience with three pillars of sustainability- including environment, economy, and community. We can’t wait to continue engaging with the Class of 2026 and the rest of campus and our community this year. Wishing everyone a wonderful FDOC on Monday💚🙌 😁

Also, HUGE shoutout to partners across the community that helped make this program such a success!

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia Masciarelli and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new Sustainability Engagement Coordinator at Sustainable Duke. I am originally from outside Asheville, NC and I graduated in May 2022 from Wake Forest University where I studied Environment & Sustainability Studies, Politics & International Affairs, and Anthropology. I have had an incredible first week getting familiar with Duke’s campus community and robust portfolio of sustainability initiatives. I look forward to connecting and engaging across the Blue Devil community to advance positive change for sustainability on campus and beyond. Bleed blue, live green!!
