Bull City ArtPlay

Summer schedule is here! Print it out and put it on your fridge so you don’t miss any of the fun! *Note the time change to 9:00-10:30am to try to beat the summer sun and heat. Pride party is 9:00-11:00am.

This is the only June ArtPlay date I could make work so it’s going to be extra long and special! My tween and teen kids will be face painting and helping with temporary tattoos, lots of rainbow play and crafts and popsicles because what better way to celebrate than a popsicle with friends! Last year, all proceeds went to the Trevor Project, this year I’d love to get connected to a local group if anyone has any suggestions please share! (July & August schedule coming soon!)

Beautiful weather and colorful creations at ArtPlay this week! Colorful ladder stackers with Little People, painting dinosaurs and washing them, and digging for fossils. ***No ArtPlay next week May 20th, see you on the 27th!

Last week’s ArtPlay fun! Red water with different cups and strainers for pouring, flower petals and mini pie tins, blue water with frogs, lily pads, and reusable ice cube stars. I was surprised the colors didn’t get mixed so I wondered aloud what would happen if we mixed them? The kids were excited to find out- so we used a white bowl to experiment and see… ❤️+💙=💜! They started calling it “doing the magic” and after several bowls of magic we decided to mix the whole bin!

We painted with hopping 🐥 chicks, explored a birdseed sensory bin with nests and eggs 🪺, and played with 🌈 loose parts. No ArtPlay next week (April 15th) but I’m already planning fun stuff for April 22nd!

Spring break was too short but I’m so excited to play tomorrow! Join us Wednesday for some springtime fun- message for address. ☀️🌷🪺🐣🪻🌻

We had a blast at the first, chilly Spring ArtPlay session! We painted with trucks, explored a birdseed sensory bin, a corn sensory table with farm animals and tractors, and played in the mud kitchen with gumball seeds, pine needles, and onion grass. Dinosaurs were requested for next time- so I shall see what fun I can come up with!
