šŸ’›Today feels extra meaningful to me. šŸ’›

It’s International Women’s Day and also the 5-year anniversary of starting my small sleep coaching business, Feliz Familyz Sleep. And during Women’s History Month, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and reflect on why this work matters so much to me.

When I started this business, my hope was simple:
to create a space where mothers feel supported, understood, and never judged while navigating one of the most exhausting seasons of life—sleep deprivation and early parenting.

Over the years, this work has become so much more than helping babies sleep.

It’s about supporting women’s mental health while guiding them as they help their babies learn the skills for independent sleep. Because when a baby sleeps better, the whole family feels it—but especially mom.

And I know that for many mothers, the process of teaching sleep skills can feel overwhelming when you’re also navigating anxiety, exhaustion, identity shifts, or the emotional weight that can come with motherhood.

That’s why it matters so much to me to meet mothers where they are—
to acknowledge their struggles, support their mental health, and walk beside them as they guide their babies toward better sleep.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I’m also thinking about the power of women supporting and empowering other women. So much of what makes this work meaningful is the community of mothers who trust me to support them during such a vulnerable season.

To every mother reading this:
You are doing so much more than you think.
Even on the tired days.
Even on the hard nights.

You are strong, capable, and deeply important.

I’m so grateful to spend the last five years supporting women and their families—and I’m honored to keep doing this work. šŸ’›

Happy International Women’s Day.

"🌸 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌟 Today is extra special for me because it also marks 4 years since I started Feliz Familyz Sleep- a small business built on a passion for supporting women, families, and better sleep. šŸ’›šŸ’¤

During Women’s History Month, I’m reminded of the incredible strength of mothers—navigating the joys and challenges of raising little ones while often putting their own needs last. My mission has always been to support women’s mental health as they teach their babies independent sleep skills—because when moms are cared for, the entire family thrives.

Sleep coaching isn’t just about getting babies to sleep. It’s about listening to and responding to a mother’s unique struggles, offering guidance that meets her where she is, and helping her create a plan that supports both her baby’s needs and her own well-being. 🧔

To all the strong, tired, loving mothers out there—you are doing an incredible job. And if you need support, I’m here to help. šŸ’¬šŸ’¤

Here’s to women, mothers, rest, and resilience. ✨

***On Sunday it's time to turn the clocks back an hour!! ***😱

While the shift means and extra hour of sleep for some, for parents, it usually means early wake ups!

Do you have a plan??

✨ I have provided my top three tips to help navigate the change!

šŸŒž Get outside in the morning!Ā  The early morning light is a great way to help your child's circadian rhythm adjust to the time change.Ā  BONUS: fresh air and movement is good for everyone's overall well-being!

šŸ›€Keep you bedtime routine consistent.Ā  Continue to do your regular calming activities to help signal to your child that it is time for sleep.

🌜Shift your sleep schedule, either a few days before or after the time change.  The earlier shift often works best for younger kids and the later shift often works for older kids AND if you forget or don't want to deal with it until after the time change.

🌟Share this post with a parent who is worried about the time change!

If you continue to have issues after the time change, DM me and we can plan a strategy session to problem solve and get back on track!

Let's break free from the myth, friends!

šŸš«šŸ’¤Sleep training isn't the villain it's made out to be!Ā

šŸ¤—šŸ’–Instead, it's an opportunity to strengthen our bond with our little ones.Ā

šŸ‘¶āœØEmbracing gentle methods like the Sleep Lady Shuffle, we prioritize connection and reassurance as our babies learn the art of independent sleep.Ā

šŸ’—šŸŒŸRemember, even when we're uncertain and don't have all the answers— showing up emotionally is the key, listening, and loving our littles through it all.Ā

šŸ’¤Together, let's create a bedtime routine filled with warmth, trust, and sweet dreams!

šŸ¤”Did you know?Ā

Early caregiver interaction is key to laying the foundation for later self-regulation skills in babies. Forget the misconception – let's prioritize responsive parenting for a happier, well-rested little one!Ā

šŸŒ™āœØGentle sleep coaching highlights the importance of this by encouraging caregiver support and responsiveness as babies build the self-soothing skills needed for independent sleep.

The Chair Method or The Shuffle is NOT cry-it-out with a chair! 🚫😓

The truth? It's about gradual, loving support as your little one learns to drift into dreamland. šŸ˜“šŸ’¤Ā

The Shuffle honors connection while gradually providing less active help, empowering your child to master independent sleep skills at their own pace. šŸŒŸšŸ’–šŸ’¤

Ready to embark on your sleep journey? DM me for personalized support! 🌈😓
