šToday feels extra meaningful to me. š
Itās International Womenās Day and also the 5-year anniversary of starting my small sleep coaching business, Feliz Familyz Sleep. And during Womenās History Month, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and reflect on why this work matters so much to me.
When I started this business, my hope was simple:
to create a space where mothers feel supported, understood, and never judged while navigating one of the most exhausting seasons of lifeāsleep deprivation and early parenting.
Over the years, this work has become so much more than helping babies sleep.
Itās about supporting womenās mental health while guiding them as they help their babies learn the skills for independent sleep. Because when a baby sleeps better, the whole family feels itābut especially mom.
And I know that for many mothers, the process of teaching sleep skills can feel overwhelming when youāre also navigating anxiety, exhaustion, identity shifts, or the emotional weight that can come with motherhood.
Thatās why it matters so much to me to meet mothers where they areā
to acknowledge their struggles, support their mental health, and walk beside them as they guide their babies toward better sleep.
Today, on International Womenās Day, Iām also thinking about the power of women supporting and empowering other women. So much of what makes this work meaningful is the community of mothers who trust me to support them during such a vulnerable season.
To every mother reading this:
You are doing so much more than you think.
Even on the tired days.
Even on the hard nights.
You are strong, capable, and deeply important.
Iām so grateful to spend the last five years supporting women and their familiesāand Iām honored to keep doing this work. š
Happy International Womenās Day.

"šø Happy International Womenās Day! š Today is extra special for me because it also marks 4 years since I started Feliz Familyz Sleep- a small business built on a passion for supporting women, families, and better sleep. šš¤
During Womenās History Month, Iām reminded of the incredible strength of mothersānavigating the joys and challenges of raising little ones while often putting their own needs last. My mission has always been to support womenās mental health as they teach their babies independent sleep skillsābecause when moms are cared for, the entire family thrives.
Sleep coaching isnāt just about getting babies to sleep. Itās about listening to and responding to a motherās unique struggles, offering guidance that meets her where she is, and helping her create a plan that supports both her babyās needs and her own well-being. š§”
To all the strong, tired, loving mothers out thereāyou are doing an incredible job. And if you need support, Iām here to help. š¬š¤
Hereās to women, mothers, rest, and resilience. āØ

***On Sunday it's time to turn the clocks back an hour!! ***š±
While the shift means and extra hour of sleep for some, for parents, it usually means early wake ups!
Do you have a plan??
⨠I have provided my top three tips to help navigate the change!
š Get outside in the morning!Ā The early morning light is a great way to help your child's circadian rhythm adjust to the time change.Ā BONUS: fresh air and movement is good for everyone's overall well-being!
šKeep you bedtime routine consistent.Ā Continue to do your regular calming activities to help signal to your child that it is time for sleep.
šShift your sleep schedule, either a few days before or after the time change.Ā The earlier shift often works best for younger kids and the later shift often works for older kids AND if you forget or don't want to deal with it until after the time change.
šShare this post with a parent who is worried about the time change!
If you continue to have issues after the time change, DM me and we can plan a strategy session to problem solve and get back on track!

The Chair Method or The Shuffle is NOT cry-it-out with a chair! š«š“
The truth? It's about gradual, loving support as your little one learns to drift into dreamland. š“š¤Ā
The Shuffle honors connection while gradually providing less active help, empowering your child to master independent sleep skills at their own pace. ššš¤
