Our librarian, Mrs. Safe, is SO excited for new mangabooks we received over the summer! Ask your child about them. 👇👇

DIS and other campuses have the need for paraprofessionals to work 1 on 1 with special needs students. If you are interested, please apply online and/or reach out to us at 580-924-1397. You can also email our principal at [email protected] if needed. This is a great opportunity to work on your child's schedule. Starting pay is around $18,000 and insurance and retirement are provided. https://durant.schoolspring.com/ is the link to apply.

If you are new to DIS, know that our annual PSO Fundraiser Art Show is one of our favorite events of the year! We have it each winter in February. Today one of our staff was out shopping and saw this classroom art that was purchased and on display at Rhynes and Rhodes in their office! We love our local businesses that support our school.❤️🦁💙 Rhynes and Rhodes also updated our staff lounge with new furniture several years ago at no cost. We love their support! Please remember them if you are furniture shopping!
