Let me offer you a personal invitation to our first OSH Alumni Open House and Cookout. It will take place here in the Department of Occupational Safety and Health during Homecoming. The university Homecoming is scheduled the weekend of October 26th, 2019. The OSH department wanted to do something different this year so we decided to offer our alumni and their families an opportunity to visit the place it all began. We are planning our reunion for Friday night, October 25th, from 6-8pm. We will have hotdogs and hamburgers and drinks. Come and reminisce with faculty and friends.

But that’s not all!!

The Student Chapter of the ASSP is having a Fundraiser Breakfast Saturday, October 26th from 8-10AM at Applebee’s, tickets are $8. This price includes all you can eat pancakes, bacon, and a drink. Come get breakfast before the Homecoming game! Contact Mellena Nichols at [email protected] to order your tickets.

American Society of Safety Professionals at Southeastern Join me and make a gift to American Society of Safety Professionals at Southeastern.

Safety career fair this coming Wednesday!

Saturday and Sunday we had 24 Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health students on the Durant campus for their industrial hygiene lab weekend. Students came from all over the United States for this weekend. Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

It was great to watch 49 Occupational Safety and Health Bachelors and Masters degree graduates walk across the stage at this December’s Southeastern Oklahoma State University commencement ceremonies. Thanks to Dennis L. Westman and Michael Scheuerman for some of these pictures. There’s were better than mine. Congratulations graduates! 🎓

We had a great group of 31 alumni, guests and faculty at tonight’s Southeastern Oklahoma State University Occupational Safety and Health homecoming reunion. The weather kept our numbers down a little bit but the quality outpaced the quantity. Ryan Russell gets the award for coming the greatest distance. All the way from the United States Virgin Islands! Great to see everyone there! 🏈
