ποΈNEWS: Southeastern to hold Spring 2026 commencement ceremonies on May 8 & 9
On Friday, May 8, masterβs degrees and certificates will be conferred at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, baccalaureate degrees will be awarded at 9 a.m.
The Spring 2026 graduating class will see 843 total students graduating β 336 baccalaureate degree recipients, 446 graduate degree recipients, and 61 certificate recipients. There are representatives from 43 states and U.S. territories, seven countries, and 15 sovereign tribal nations.

The Aviation Alumni Association and Aerospace Sciences Institute are so excited to welcome alumni, friends, and family back to campus for the annual reunion. This year marks an extra special milestone, as we are celebrating 60 Years of Excellence of the Aviation Program at Southeastern Oklahoma State University!

The late Gail Gorski is a 2012 Distinguished Alumni of Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
In 1969 only three schools in the country offered a degree in aviation: Purdue, Parks College, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. After graduating in 1974, Gorski went on to break barriers for women in aviation. She was the first female VIP pilot for the FAA and the first FAA Flight Inspection Pilot and was hired by United Airlines in 1978 as their first female pilot.
