🐄🥛 Today was an exciting day at our school as we welcomed the Southwest Dairy Farm Mobile Classroom! Our students had the opportunity to experience a real dairy farm right on campus and learn where milk comes from, how dairy cows are cared for, and the important role farmers play in providing healthy food for our communities.

A huge thank you to the Southwest Dairy Farm team member, Aaron, for sharing his knowledge, bringing hands-on learning to our students, and making agriculture come alive in such a fun and engaging way. Our students loved seeing the live milking demonstration and learning all about life on a dairy farm!

☀️🏊‍♂️ Summer School Fun at the Pool! 🏊‍♀️☀️

Our summer school students had an amazing day at the city pool! While a brief rain shower tried to slow us down, it didn’t stop the fun. The students enjoyed swimming, laughing, and making great memories with friends. By the time the rain passed, we were right back to having a blast!

A little rain couldn’t wash away all the smiles today! 🌦️💙

📚🐾 We had a special visitor at summer school today!

Leandra Jestis and her dog, Ollie—the star of her book—joined our students for a wonderful read-aloud experience. Ollie’s story shares an important message: sometimes we may feel like we don’t fit in, but our differences are what make us special. Through Ollie’s journey, students learned that being different is okay and that everyone has a unique purpose—you were made for this!

Thank you for sharing your inspiring story and reminding our students to embrace who they are, celebrate their uniqueness, and show kindness and acceptance to others. ❤️🐶📖

🌿🏠 STEM Fun Today! 🏠🌿

Today in STEM, students became jungle engineers! Using only materials and tools found in nature, they designed and built their own jungle homes. Students explored problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and basic engineering concepts as they discovered how natural resources can be used to create shelters.

It was amazing to see their imagination and innovation come to life! 🌱🛠️🌿
