Durant High School HOSA

DHS Health Sciences have been busy doing some hands-on learning this week!!!
Dissecting Swiss cakes while going over anatomical planes in health science 1, health science 3-4 practicing vision screens, 12 lead ECG placement, and capillary finger sticks. Lots and lots of fun learning!

Our HOSA chapter cheered on the runners during Colton's Main Street Run a few weeks ago and our 10K group were the spirit winners!!

Proud is an understatement. This group worked so hard and recruited blood donors all year long with one goal in mind...to be thr Class 5A High School Champions for the second year in a row. Well they blew that out of the water!!! Not only did they achieve their goal, they had the highest amount of blood donors out if every high school.class division in the entire state!!!

DHS HOSA saved over 1500 lives!!

They were celebrated last night with dinner and a fancy blood drop trophy!
Friday before the football game at 6:40, we will be presented with our second High School championship banner for Class 5A.
Come out and help celebrate the hard work these students have done and are continuing to do!

HOSA Back to School Social will be Thursday, August 28th from 4-5:30 in the commons!!!
We'll have hotdogs!

Took this group to Nashville to HOSA ILC (international leadership conference) where they competed against students from all over the world!
Over 14,000 students and advisors were in attendance.
Super proud of them!

Wishing this group of 3 Anatomage teams the best as they compete at the National tournament today and tomorrow at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas!

Can't wait to see how well they do!
