Durant HS Student Council

Roar Week was such a success! Our student council raised $1,213.79 for the Student Assistance Program in our school district. We had so much fun all week long, and it means so much to us to give back and support members of our community who need it most. 💙❤️

Spring D4 Conference!
Congrats Blair Burrage on representing Durant in our candidacy for D4 president! We are so proud of you! Durant is so excited to lead and help other schools communities with our “Care Comes in Cans” campaign. We are so grateful for the OASC and Student Council!!❤️

IT’S ROAR WEEK!!
Roar week is student councils philanthropy week that we use to raise money for our safe schools program! We will be having a money wars between grades based on amount, winner gets popsicles! We will ALSO be selling Chicken Express tea for $2 until sold out throughout the week! We are so excited for this week and hope that you all are able to participate in giving back to kids in our school district!! 💙💙💙

Cost will be $10 at the door (cash only) and make sure you are in dress code! The out-of-school date forms can be found in the main office and are due January 30th! We can wait to see you all there!

When we return from Thanksgiving break, we’ll be starting our 12 Day’s of Christmas dress-up days! We can’t wait to see everyone’s fun and festive outfits!!!🎄

“Somewhere Over The Rainbow” is our Homecoming 25’ dance theme. It will be on Saturday, September 13th from 8 PM-10 PM. There will be NO out of school dates. We can’t wait!! 🌈🦁

This past week two of our member went to Basic Leadership Workshop in Alva! They had the best time! Jared went as the OASC President! So proud of them all for wanting to grow as leaders. 🩵🦁

We love our teachers at DHS and this week was Teacher Appreciation Week. To give them thanks we got them HTeaO and Donuts!! 🍩🩷🦁
