One of the biggest shifts I've made in my relationships is realizing that healthy conflict isn't about avoiding disagreements.
It's about remembering what we're actually fighting.
When we make each other the enemy, we stop listening. We defend. We blame. We protect ourselves.
But when we pause long enough to remember that the real problem is the misunderstanding, the unmet need, the fear, the habit, the wound, or the pattern... everything changes.
Healthy relationships don't pretend conflict doesn't exist.
They learn how to stand on the same side of it.
