Fort Lewis College is still looking for an Alumni Officer to help strengthen the Skyhawk network by engaging alumni, expanding volunteer and mentorship opportunities, supporting affinity groups, and creating meaningful ways for graduates to stay connected to FLC.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience in engagement, development, sales, marketing, or a related field, along with a genuine enthusiasm for relationship building and community engagement.

First and foremost we are looking for an Alumni Officer (the face of alumni engagement at FLC). If you love building relationships, creating community, and connecting Skyhawks with Skyhawks, this could be the perfect fit.

We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and one or more years of experience in engagement, development, sales, marketing, or a related field who is passionate about building meaningful alumni connections.

We're also hiring a Director of Engagement and an Experience Manager to help shape the future of alumni and donor engagement.

Alumni spotlight: Benjamin Brewer (Philosophy, '22). Benjamin serves as Head of Sales at Visit Durango, overseeing domestic and international travel markets, including meetings and incentives, Fully Independent Traveler (FIT) programs, and group travel series. He connects local businesses with travel agents, meeting planners, and tour operators while guiding partners on effective B2B outreach strategies. Benjamin has secured key accounts, including Tauck for group series business and Outdoor Media Summit for meetings and events.

Alumni spotlight: Stephan Davoust (Engineering, '17). Davoust is the owner and operator of Aspen Goat Grazers, a company that uses goat grazing to conduct brush control, fire mitigation, and noxious w**d abatement in the Roaring Fork Valley. Stephan's engineering background means that he brings a planned, systems-based approach to every grazing project. Site access, plant species, timing, and stocking density are carefully evaluated to deliver real results—whether the goal is noxious w**d control, fuel reduction, or ecosystem restoration.
