Dates: June 2-20, July 7-25, and August 12-22
Hours: 9:30-3:30 (Extended care i
s available for $8/hour.) Cost: $35/day. Parents provide lunch and a morning and afternoon snack. Enrollment limit per day: 8
Themes/Activities:
We will get to explore and have fun in a range of ways, including hiking, arts, crafts, nature activities, fun with food, science experiments, adventures around town and into nature, orienteering, water play, biking, dancing, emotional/physical health activities, cooperative games, and exploring our community through tours and service projects. We will enjoy some field trips to special places and may be treated to some guest instructors. While we won't be able to fit all of this into one week, these are the elements I will draw upon during the six weeks. I will send parents a detailed schedule of activities a week in advance, so parents and kids will know what to expect each week and each day. Registration options: Register by the week, anywhere from 2 to 5 days per week. How to register: Email Tara at [email protected] for the registration paperwork. Refunds are available up to two weeks before the start of each week of camp. Transportation: We will travel by bus, foot, bike and van. I may also utilize volunteer drivers as needed and available. It's important that kids arrive on time for camp, since we will often leave right away for a hike, bike or play time outdoors, to avoid the heat of the day. Tara's background:
