✍️ Cursive is making a comeback in Mr. Griffin’s 9th Grade School Orientation class!

Students are continuing to strengthen their cursive handwriting skills — an important life skill that still matters today. From signing contracts/documents and writing checks to creating professional business letters, cursive plays a major role in the real world.

In a digital age, it’s important that students can not only type professionally, but also write professionally. We are proud to help students build confidence, communication skills, and lifelong habits that will benefit them far beyond the classroom! 📚🖊️

🎉 CTE Business Student of the Month 🎉 This month’s winner for May is… Carter Dunk!

Carter (freshman), was nominated during the month of May and has consistently demonstrated true excellence in the classroom. He shows up on time every day with no tardies, and he is always respectful to his teachers and classmates. Carter actively participates in class discussions, regularly volunteers to share his ideas, and consistently raises his hand to contribute in a positive way.

His work is also excellent—he dives into detail, produces thoughtful and well-developed responses, and consistently goes above and beyond what is expected. Carter does not rush to turn in assignments; instead, he takes his time to ensure everything is accurate, complete, and high quality.

He stays fully on track with his behavior and has no behavior logs or disciplinary referrals. Carter also follows all classroom rules and student handbook policies with integrity and responsibility.

In addition, he goes above and beyond as a helper—supporting his peers and assisting teachers with tasks such as running errands and helping wherever needed.
