Dunnellon High School AFJROTC

Dunnellon High School AFJROTC AFJROTC: Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. Dunnellon High Air Force JROTC is the biggest organization on campus with over 100 cadets.

We do many community service projects wich include campus clean ups, river clean ups, parking at football games, and volunteer tutoring at the elementary school. At the beginning of each year we have BCO (Basic Cadet orientation) out at Camp Kiwanis to teach the new cadets the basics such as marching and cadet etiquitte. At the end of the year those who are chosen for leadership positions are inv

ited to attend SLS (Summer Leadership School). At this camp, the future leaders of the corps learn basic corps management skills and are provided training centered around their new position. AFJROTC instills discipline, responsibilty, respect, and team work.

Military Ball is Saturday, Cadets are allowed to start arriving at 6:30 but need to be there no later than 7, it ends at 11. The ball Is at the American Legion Hall in Dunnellon (58 N Us Highway 41 , Dunnellon, FL 34432).
