On Wednesday, August 26th, there will be an orientation for all 7th-grade students from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Dunmore Jr./Sr. High School.

Students are asked to arrive by 1 p.m. and enter through our cafeteria. In addition to meeting their teachers and getting a tour of the middle school wing of our building, students will be assigned lockers and will be given an opportunity to practice opening them. Students will be dismissed at 2 p.m.

Please be advised that this orientation is for students only and no bus transportation will be provided.

More information about our school’s policies will be mailed home in the coming week. Please be advised that all 7th-grade students must have required immunizations of Tdap and the Meningitis vaccine. Please return proof of their immunizations with emergency card, a signed form that was mailed from our nurse, and private dental and/or scoliosis forms, if warranted, to the school as soon as possible. *If you are new to Junior High/High School sports this year, you are required to complete ImPACT Concussion Baseline Testing. This needs to be completed BEFORE your first day of practice to ensure participation. The test CANNOT be done on a phone or chromebook, and will take approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.

Physicals for Fall Sports - Students in grades 7-12
*Physicals will take place on Saturday August 1, 2026 at 8:45am in the high school gymnasium for those in 7th-12th grades wishing to participate in a sport this season.
