What you’re about to witness today is part of a livestock exhibition that we are proud to say started right here in Iowa. An event so powerful that kids all over our great state work hours in the barn every day with the hope that they might get that invitation to compete. One of the only events with our livestock youth at the center of it all.

An event where a group of volunteers came together from counties across the state to give our youth another way to take pride in their hard work—to pull businesses together for a common cause: doing what’s best for our area youth. An event where every dollar donated goes right back into the show and right back to those who have earned the right to be called a champion.

This is what happens when a group of like-minded individuals volunteer hundreds of hours toward the same common goal. This is what late barn nights and early farm sunrises bring you to.

This is it.

Your time is now.

Step up to the plate and show everyone what you’ve got.

This is your Iowa District Show, and this is one of the best days of summer.

Fair week is officially underway, and we’re kicking things off with some excitement!

🎉 Congratulations to Morgan Hast on being named Miss Congeniality! What an awesome way to start the week—we’re so proud of you!

We also have students showing livestock, competing, volunteering, and representing our chapter at both the Harrison County Fair and Crawford County Fair this week. We can’t wait to watch our students do what they do best and showcase all of their hard work.
