Beethoven is coming home!

For those that weren’t around, Beethoven is a traveling relic of the Iowa Choral Director’s Association that is auctioned off every year at summer symposium. Schauer bought him in 2019, and Stowers is bringing him back in 2026!

The Unified Iowa High School Activities Federation mandates an annual non-contact period each year. This year’s non-contact window is Sunday, July 26th - Sunday, August 2nd.

During this period there will be no school related activities. This includes: camps, clinics, meetings, open gyms, workouts, music lessons, weights, etc...

Additionally, the Dunlap and Dow City school offices will be by appointment only during the non-contact period.

It was a good day (albeit VERY hot 🫠) of RAGBRAI in Dunlap!
