These really are more than just jackets. These kids form lifetime friendships, grow personally and learn so many leadership skills.

I am not sure they want to be named so I am just going to anonymously thank some individuals in our community who have donated some jackets for our kids over the last couple years and this year they have stepped up again with 6 new jackets for deserving individuals. You know who you are and I thank you for supporting these young people. šŸ¤—

We held our first chapter meeting of the new school year on Wednesday evening. After the official meeting we had some yummy ice cream with all the toppings and then played a fun game of "sardines" (reverse hide and seek). Looks like it is going to be an exciting year with students signing up to compete in 15 different CDEs & LDEs šŸ˜

We were represented well at the Open Livestock judging event yesterday. Gabby finished 105th out of 502 individuals and Brayden was only 23 points behind her. Gabby scored 2 out of 6 classes perfect and 2 more within 5 points of perfect. Brayden had 1 perfect score and a couple others not far off. This was great practice for the regional event.

Congratulations to all of our members!!! We learned today that we have earned our State Silver award in the National Chapter Award program! This application focuses on each chapterā€™s involvement in strengthening agriculture, growing leaders, and building communities. Super proud of every member who had a part in this success and those supporters and community members who helped us out!!! up
