The HOB Give Back

Hey, Give Backers. Our first Packing Event for the 2026/2027 school year is just a couple of weeks away — September 2 at 6 PM! We're asking for a great turnout at our two Pack-A-Snacks events in September (2nd & 16th). The school has already indicated that more students will need this weekly assistance than last year.

WE’RE HOPING FOR A STRONG TURNOUT!
So, spread the word. Invite some friends!

We need all the usual ready-to-eat, single-serving snacks. (NO DRINKS THIS YEAR.) Examples of pre-packaged, ready-to-eat, "healthy" snacks (all single-serving):
* BEEF JERKY
* PEANUT BUTTER & CHEESE CRACKERS
* BREAKFAST BARS
* READY-TO-EAT PASTA
* GRANOLA BARS & PROTEIN BARS
* MIXED FRUIT (canned or packaged only, no fresh fruit)
* PUDDING
* NUTS & TRAIL MIX
* RAISINS & DRIED FRUIT
* APPLESauce
* FRUIT SNACKS/CHEWS/STRIPS/ROLL-UPS
* CHIPS & POPCORN

Unless you hear otherwise, we will not be asking our volunteers to bring drinks this year. A donor covered the drinks for the 2026/2027 school year. (Thank you, VFW Post 2550 Dunedin!)

Pack-A-Sack resumes on September 2 at 6 PM. As usual, under the pavilion at HOB Brewing Company. Bring some snacks and a friend!

Hi, Give-Backers!

The 2026/2027 school year is here, and September 2 is when Pack-A-Snack resumes. Posts, updates, and reminders about our Packing Events will be coming this week. Our Packing Events will STILL be on the 1st & 3rd WEDNESDAY of the month, but before we post anything, we're polling whether we should keep the start time at 7 PM or move it to 6 PM.

So, 6 PM or 7 PM? Let us know your vote!

Hello, Dunedin community. Our Saturday Morning Food Giveaway needs some help with transportation. We need a couple of volunteers willing to help us break down some cardboard boxes (what all the food comes in) and bring them to a nearby recycling drop-off.
