The HOB Give Back The HOB Give Back mobilizes service projects in the greater Dunedin area. We’ve all received, so let's give back!
So let's give back! Share it here!

No matter our background, who we are, or where we have come from, we have all received from others. The HOB Give Back, formerly Dunedin GIve Back, is committed to educating and mobilizing the greater Dunedin area to give back through local service projects. Attention Dunedinites: Have a service project idea? See a need within our community. Together, let's see what we can do about it!

The HOB Give Back mobilizes service projects in the greater Dunedin area. Currently, we offer food at Food Giveaway events (every Saturday), run our Pack-A-Snack program for community schools, host a Turkey Giveaway every Thanksgiving season, and raise money for local nonprofits through our Charity Tap and other fundraisers.

Have a local service project idea? Let's hear it. Let's do it! Message us today or reach out to Heath. We've all received, so let's give back!

Our first Packing Event for the 2026/2027 school year is just a couple of weeks away — September 2 at 6 PM! We're asking for a great turnout at our two Pack-A-Snacks events in September (2nd & 16th). The school has already indicated that more students will need this weekly assistance than last year. So, spread the word. Invite some friends!

We need all the usual ready-to-eat, single-serving snacks. (NO DRINKS THIS YEAR.) Examples of pre-packaged, ready-to-eat, "healthy" snacks (all single-serving):
* BEEF JERKY
* PEANUT BUTTER & CHEESE CRACKERS
* BREAKFAST BARS
* READY-TO-EAT PASTA
* GRANOLA BARS & PROTEIN BARS
* MIXED FRUIT (canned or packaged only, no fresh fruit)
* PUDDING
* NUTS & TRAIL MIX
* RAISINS & DRIED FRUIT
* APPLESauce
* FRUIT SNACKS/CHEWS/STRIPS/ROLL-UPS
* CHIPS & POPCORN
