Dunedin Montessori Academy

Ms. Delaney and Ms. Pamela’s class made whales, handprint painted jelly fish, made fish shapes, and performed a freshwater/saltwater experiment to see if the egg floated or sank.

Ms. Kerine’s class practiced writing the letter Zz, tore and rolled tissue paper and glued on the letter O, colored and cut out zoo animals, painted zebras, used zucchini to paint zippers, walked in a zig zag, and tasted zucchini.

Ms. Kahina, Ms. Bianca, and Ms. Ka’Myra’s class sponge painted dolphins, made fish, handprint painted zebras, dot painted starfish, and painted all together.

Ms. Kerine’s class made yo-yos, dot painted fish, colored sea animals, glued yarn on the letter Y, explored coral, and tasted sheep milk yogurt.

Ms. Kahina, Ms. Bianca, and Ms. Ka’Myra’s class painted seahorses, sponge painted jellyfish, and handprint painted their hands holding a yo-yo.

Ms. Delaney and Ms. Pamela’s class made coral by trying to blow throw a straw and then used a paint brush to finish. They fork print painted puffer fish, made sharks, painted the ocean for their fish, performed a counting activity, enjoyed playing with sensory, explored the coral that Ms. Pamela brought in, and learned to play with a yo-yo.

Ms. Jackie and Ms. Maria’s class made seagulls and handprint painted crabs.

Our last water day of the summer and the children had a blast! The whole school enjoyed water day together and some very delicious ice cream. A big thank you to one of our families for donating ice cream for the children on this special day.

Ms. Kerine’s class finger painted the letter X, colored a beach scene, cut pieces of paper and glued them to a beach ball, sponge painted the letter X for xylophone, hand and arm print painted x-rays, played with water in the sensory bin, and enjoyed water day.
