Ms. Scott’s 2nd grade students are putting their reading skills into action during Fluency Friday! Each week, students practice their UFLI phonics texts throughout the week, and Friday is their chance to show off all that hard work by performing their texts with accuracy, expression, and confidence!

Our VPK students had a beary good time learning positional words with their counting bears! They practiced identifying beside, above, in front of, and under while building important early math and spatial awareness skills.
Hands-on learning like this helps our youngest learners develop math vocabulary, following directions, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills—all while having fun!

It may have been a little cloudy in Dunedin, FL, but our VPK students were ready to SOAR into PE! The cooler weather made it the perfect day to get outside, move our bodies, practice motor skills, and have fun during VPK Physical Education!
Who says you need sunshine for a great PE day? No shade here—just great learning!

Ms. Capri’s class was busy touch counting up to 5 while building important early math skills! Students are learning that numbers represent quantities as they practice one-to-one correspondence, number recognition, counting, and number sense.

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men… weren’t needed here!
VPK students had a hopping good time learning with the classic poem Humpty Dumpty! After reading the poem, students illustrated their favorite parts and worked together to build a wall to help keep Humpty from falling!
This hands-on activity combined early literacy, reading comprehension, creativity, problem-solving, engineering, and teamwork—proof that learning can be anything but a crack-up!
