I had a great day taking Gage out for his 15th birthday and the fishing didn’t disappoint. He landed his personal best redfish and sheepshead! Way to go, Kid!

Good morning Dunedin! Captain Angelo here with Live Like a Local Boat Charters out of Dunedin. I’m happy to report the water has cleared up and the fishing is top notch right now. Even though the Dunedin Marina remains closed, your local charter captains are running strong. As we welcome our snowbirds back to town, I’m running a special for 15% off any charter of your choice. Please call, text (preferred) or book online to reserve your spot. I still have a few spots open around Thanksgiving as well. Pricing is available on my website or just reach out to me directly. If fishing isn’t your thing, I do sand bar and island hopping trips too. 👍

It’s been a rough couple days. The storm surge has crushed our area and it’s taken a minute to process everything. My family and I are safe and our house made it through just fine. Our coastline got crushed with the most unprecedented surge we have ever seen and many friends and business owners have lost everything. The Dunedin Marina where I and many other captains operate out of has been destroyed. I will be back in operation as soon as it’s safe to be back on the water. There is still a ton of floating debris and most marinas and boat ramps are closed and still assessing damage. While I’m happy we made it through ok, my heart aches for those that weren’t so lucky.
