The students wrapped up their summer with a fun-filled day of learning and adventure! They participated in forest animal activities led by Cornell Cooperative Extension, played kickball, built homes for toy animals using LEGOs, and got hands-on with some cool science experiments.

They tested how fat can help keep animals warm, just like whales and polar bears, and experimented with melting ice using water and salt. Of course, they also made sure to spend plenty of time outdoors enjoying the summer weather!

Today was our last day of summer camp, and we want to wish all of our students and families a wonderful rest of the summer! We’ll see everyone again in the new school year!

This year, Fun That Pops presents a brand-new, high-energy magic production themed around the 2026 Summer Reading program. We are inviting young explorers to join us on an expedition through Dinosaurs, Paleontology, and Archaeology TOMORROW, Friday, August 14 at 2:00 PM for our End of Summer Party!

​Highlights include:

✅ A Magical Dinosaur Puppet: Meet our prehistoric pal who literally hatches during the show and helps bring the ancient world to life.
✅ Enchanted Fossils: Witness the impossible as we pull a massive 8-foot Zebraffasaurus bone out of a tiny gift bag!
✅ Literacy-Linked Magic: We introduce beloved children’s books, share a glimpse of their stories, and then use magic to bring those pages to life right before your eyes.

Free for all ages to attend! Registration is not required.

Today, students dove into the world of animals under the sea! They also enjoyed some outdoor fun on the playground and played team games like kickball. Then, they traveled to the Arctic biome and used craft supplies to build their own igloos!

Some students also received extra support through math and ELA tutoring!

Today, students learned all about different types of birds and put their knowledge into action with a fun bird-themed game in PE!

Then, they headed back to the jungle, listened to a jungle story, and created their own adorable monkey crafts. Students also continued painting rocks for their community service project, adding their own colorful touches to brighten up the community!

Some students also worked on their ELA and math skills through tutoring.
