This summer we participated in the Jurassic World Dominion STEAM Initiative pilot powered by Comcast NBCUniversal and the Council for Opportunity in Education.

These efforts strengthen STEAM participation among low-income, first-generation-college-bound students participating in Federal Trio Programs.

We were among 350 students given a surprise trip to Universal Studios Hollywood to attend a college fair; meet talent from Jurassic World Dominion, preview the latest film and receive a free laptop.

Our weekend sessions include academic and cultural enrichment opportunities. From help with homework and tutoring to taking a trip to visit a college, Dundalk Upward Bound is filled with chances to learn and grow!

It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of one of our DUB family members. Mr. Mooring was a counselor for DUB 2010-2012. Even after leaving our program to advance his career, he continued to support DUB and mentor students. He was such a light and had the biggest smile! He always challenged our students to be great and accepted no excuses. He was a pleasure to work with and was not only a colleague, but a friend. Mr. Mooring thank you for the contribution you made to our program, staff and students. We are forever grateful to have known you and to call you a member of our DUB family. Our prayers go out to his family, colleagues and friends.
