Good afternoon,

Permission slips have been sent home for the Hershey Park field trip. These permission slips must be returned by April 15th, 2026. If the permission slip and payment (if necessary), is not returned by that date, the student will not attend the trip. Please view the permission slip that was sent home for more information. If your student has misplaced their permission slip, have them ask an eighth-grade teacher for a replacement.

SMS 8th grade takes on The Franklin Institute in Philly…what a great learning experience 😀

TOMORROW is our field trip to The Franklin Institute in Philly! We will be leaving the school at 8am and returning at 4:30pm. All students who are not picked up by 5pm will ride the activity bus.

Please make sure your student brings a COMPLETELY disposable lunch with them as we will not be able to bring any containers, lunch boxes, etc. back with us. Students should also dress comfortably for walking around the exhibit. They do not need to bring anything with them to school except for their lunch.

We are looking forward to a great trip!! ☺️
